Water resistance is not tested on most replicas. A rating printed on the caseback is not a guarantee. ISO 22810 sets a standard for water-resistant watches. Genuine Panerai Submersible models are rated to 300 meters. Do not swim with a replica unless a watchmaker pressure-tests it.
